Very Palm Beach.
Its so much better to never lose it, than to lose it and get it back--you can always tell the difference. With that said, most people never get it back, so if you get it back after you lost it, thats better than losing it forever.

I like the dress, and the print is pretty; but large-scale prints are hard to work.  They steal focus from your face and can be overpowering.

Re: Artichoke Dress
^^ I don't shop at WalMart.  Bad for the economy.

BUT...I did ask myself if I saw it at Target, I would totally think it's cute.  It's kinda June Cleaverish.  I could see myself wearing it with some cute high heels.

Or I could Carrie Bradshaw it, wear it with a scarf over my head and tons of necklaces and big sunglasses.

They put little mom & pop stores out of business, they don't protect their workers, plus they sell rifles and ammunition.  Did you ever see Bowling for Columbine?

I wouldn't wear the dress, it is a little to older ladyish for me.  I do think on an older stylish lady it would look really good though.

Mom and Pop stores can't survive the market because thats the nature of business. Corporations, always beat out the small guys, but so what? The first article u posted made it seem like having a HUGE corporation like Walmart in the US is "bad." Thats just ridiculous. The truth of the matter is that Walmart just did unbelievably well and certain ppl need to blame unemployment or poor economy on something! Walmart created millions of job opportunities for ppl and made a store with good products at great prices. Also, why in the world shouldn'y walmart sell guns? As long as u have a license and proper identification why is that bad? In the second article it said the gun was purchased by the kid's FATHER...who has every right to purchase rifles, guns and ammunition. I do not see a valid reason to "boycott" Walmart. Companies have a right and duty to make money and produce as much product as possible. Thats why the US is so great.

Re: Artichoke Dress
The job opportunities Walmart created are very short-lived.  Walmart has a high employee turnover rate, the workers are not unionized, and their health insurance only kicks after a six-month probation, which is pointless because many have found other jobs by then.

Anyway,  you can shop there if you want.  I'm not telling others to boycott Walmart.  I just have my own reasons not to shop there.

Unless, of course, they start selling DVF.  J/K.
