In other news, they deleted my "Clay Aiken Steamy Gay Affair" thread in the rumor section. and it was getting lots of replies before they deemed it "innappropiated". So we cant talk about homosexuality either. But I guess they dont want to offend anyone, or lose members, so I understand.
the problem is that tfs mods dictate the thrust of conversations. if they personally dont like a point thats been expressed they then erase a post, often randomly, at the whim of the moderator. to an adult that is frightening territory- they dont like viewpoint so they banish it. there are a handful of tfs mods that are by far the most guilty of this heinous free speech crime.
the libel explanation doesnt hold water. clays gayness has been reported everywhere [and theres nothing wrong with being gay] as has speculation about nic richies weight & health. tfs is not in trouble for msg board discussion of these tabloid topics.
tfs takes an approach of erasing 'controversial' stories and imo its juvenile & curtails free expression- exactly what message boards are there for.
censorship has caused many probelms at tfs & if youre at all aware of that board many free thinking people refuse to post there or endorse it as the censorship is intellectually unsupportable & imo downright un-american .
there have been threads re:censorship at tfs & the admins deleted or locked those threads- if everyone really knew how much censorship & backstage fascism occurs at tfs, they would have a very different view of how that board is moderated & who exactly dicattes what is ok to say & what is erased because a mod doesnt agree- its is anti-american & contrary to our values of free speech & individuial & open expression
there are real dangers in the tfs censor approach.
drug and eating diseases are a fact of life in fashion & models, the 2 topics that tfs covers. karen elson among many others has helped people with these diseases by talking about them.
tfs doesnt permit that talk. its immature, its fascistic, its anti-american, its contrary to message board free speech & exchange of ideas.
even worse, if one expresses an idea that a tfs mod doesnt like , they simply erase it. i prefer gemma & other 21st century girls to big boob commercial girls like cindy crawford or lima. when i said that, my posts were erased & was threatened by tfs admins. simply for having an opinion the witches didnt agree with. like its not ok to love gemma, just cos shes 18 & thin.
i believe the objectionable tfs mods to be 40-50 year old women who are fat & cant stand a teen cute model like gemma at 18. they want old washed up bags like cindy crawford cos they are fat & washed up grandmas.
they wll not permit discussion of eating disorders, weight or drug use despite all of these being factual among young women & models.
i was friends with a few tfs mods, who stood up for me when i criticized the censorship & threatening behaviour by the tfs admins. at that point, my tfs mod freinds were threatened with banning by the tfs admins simply for having the opinion that my concerns were legit. tfs admins 100% curtail free speech & do not allow an opinion other than the 'tfs party line.' if you know the actual people at the top of tfs, that 'party line' opinion becomes very scary to contemplate. imo the admins are witches & granmas and they are not suite to open discussion of 2006 concerns in health fashion models or anythimngh else where there is more than 1 possible view. they only permit the rote conservative, 1950s era tfs position cos thats when they grew up. :::

there were threads at tfs discussing censorship there. then scariest coven tfs admin immediately locked that thread, saying, 'you either abide by my opinions & rules or you fuuck off elsewhere'. she did not permit adult discussion of censorship concerns. = fascistic cabal.
if you really knew what a fascistic cabal the tfs system is, and how many opinions are censored & how many good people have been insulted & threatened by the weak tfs admins, no intelligent or open minded person would post there. free speech means a lot in usa but that concept didnt reach certain weak and old fashioned tfs admins.

Funny how you insult tFS.com yet repeatedly sign on using different usernames. Sad really. You claim you have mod friends, yet not one Moderator from tFS.com would ever say they were your "friend". How lame is it to bash another forum.
tFS.com has almost 40 000 members, and this alone says so much for the forum. We take pride in our forum and respect our "intellegant and mature" members. When they feel "threatened" by another member we will do our very best to ensure they feel comfortable and safe.
The guidelines are there for a purpose, and as human beings there are rules and policies in everyday life. Drugs are not discussed b/c of many serious incidents that occured and with the vast amount of under age members we have. The same goes for weight discussion. There is a thread soley for this discussion, and it's quite successful.
tFS.com is a fashion forum, first and foremost.. not a model forum, not a drug forum, or weight forum. We encourage debates and discussions very much, but we also encourage each member to respect one another opinions. We also encourage members to "discuss" without using profanity and not talk down to one another. I personally have witness some many members grow into successful, mature and intellegent posters.
Lastly, I respect LUX as a follow fashion forum and have been a member for quite some time.. on the old LUX my username was SHADY. Therefore I would never publically "bash" this forum, nor would I encourage such behaviour on tFS.com
BTW: we have many gay members on our site, and even on the mod team, never have they felt that tFS.com has anyway censored them.
Regardless, you are all entitled to your opinion. I was simply stating mine.
I am still friends with both tfs mods & members & they do not paint a positive picture of a few specific people at the top of tfs admins/mods. andora is the #1 foremost person singled out for her self-important, 'I determine the tfs policy & opinions,' and heavy-handed techniques. andora can claim that censorship is not an issue at tfs [although she locked the thread that specifically discussed tfs censorship policies!!] but tfs policy has rankled many members & at least 2 mods have privately complained to me about the policies that andora mainly invented. [so they are candid with me andora but they lie to you!!]. both my tfs mod friends and several members tried to stand up for me when andora specifically quelled my voice. these 2 mods & several members were then threatened with expulsion from TFS SIMPLY FOR ASKING ANDORA TO CONSIDER IF SHE WAS BEING TOO HARSH ON ME. the mods & members were threatened with expulsion from tfs merely for having a humanistic opinion different from that held by andora and a few other mods at the top of TFS. the moderating policy at tfs is based on the structure 'this is the tfs mod party line & you MUST agree, we are a united team.' even though several mods do not agree with andora's fascistic & conservative policies. free speech? different opinions allowed?? not at tfs!!
I was not permitted to champion 2005 waif models like gemma. I was criticized for disliking washed up 80s monsters like cindy crawford. animal rights & anti-fur is 100% a top fashion topic that adults can reasonably discuss but i was forbidden from expressing the pro-animal stance. I was repeatedly censored for supporting animals & criticizing fur manufacturers & wearers. in effect this made 'pro fur' the tfs policy as my contrary views were constantly censored.
further when i wrote a confidential e mail to model mom expressing my objections to andora's policy and requesting that model mom keep this PRIVate message PRIvate, model mom immediately passed that confidential e mail on to andora. and model mom never answered me at all. 100% betrayal of trust & confidentiality, another example of the coven-like secrecy & fascism at tfs.
I have written several e mails to andy the tfs owner explaining my points of view. several times andy promised to give me an adult & reasoned explanation to my questions. 6 months later andy has not answered me as he promised, another betrayal of trust & word from tfs admins.
I also have reason to believe that 'private messages' at tfs are not private at all & that andora, andy & andora's favoured mods can access PM's at tfs anytime they want. this alone, in this day & age of concern over privacy rights & unconstitutional spying, should be enough to dissuede any mature & self-respecting person to avoid tfs at all costs. there is no privacy at tfs as model mom showed me so clearly. and its policy of censorship & dictating topics & opinions is blithly anti-american, unconstitutional.
andora has threatened both mods & member freiends of mine with permanent expulsion from tfs merely for supporting my humanity, standing, or ideas in the least. i guess they are so scared of andora's fascistic hardball tactics that they are too scared to eve tell her what they have told me in many private conversations. and yes they are 2 current mods & several members.
also andora, in the signature area of members posts, many mebers have been writing notes in 'white' text mocking your heavy handed e mail approach, thereatening bannings, censorship ec.
you may not be aware of it but at all times there are messages mocking you in many members "signatures" written in 'white' text that only shows up if you copy it. [this was frequently discussed to much laughter in the chat area- many of your school-marm like e mails with threats are pasted in members signature areas- andora you are mocked & ridiculed by scores of tfs members in the signature areas but i guess youre none the wiser!!] ;)
many times on tfs chat andora has been ridiculed as a nosey wicked witch of the north not even as much for her name or face but more scarily for her fascistic & heavyhanded & matronly banning & censorship policies.

andora's frightening, threatening pms are legendary. as i mentioned tfs members save them & copy them in 'white' text in their 'signature areas at tfs & they all laugh on live chat about andoras scary fascism & threats.
i told her that no one tells me what top say or think. its a scary system at tfs where they actually dictate opinions/stances on topics & if you dont agree they censor & ban you. i know quite a few very good people who were banned from tfs merely for having views slightly different from those the mods impose. i have never known any message board with such strict/fascist idea/thought policing/dictating. its totally contrary to the "open market of ideas/opinions" that is the backbone of any good message board.
i suggest you & anyone else who is angered by andoras heavy handed fascism censorship write to andy the tfs owner. if enough people complain about threats & censorship. hopefully andora will be removed from her queen/witch perch and tfs can once again become the free & quality site it was years ago at its start.
if anyone needs andy's e mails pm me. i also believe that andora & her mods intercept general tfs e mails so that andy rarely sees critical/censorship related e mails. i have 2 private e mails that andy gave me so u can be sure he will see your comments & andora will not intercept them & hide criticism of her from andy.
i also caution you that "PRIVATE MSGS" at tfs ARE NOT PRIVATE!!!! andora & her favoured mods like model mom [and 1 or 2 more i can name] are able & free to READ PRIVATE MSGS sent at tfs: an incredible breach of privacy & individual human rights. andoras threatening rants are comical and yet very scary. i believe if adults knew the level of censorship, fascism & lack of privacy rights at tfs, NO ONE would post there. yet andy is ignorant of andora's fascistic, heavyhanded rule & so andora keeps him in the dark over her threats censorship idea fascism etc.
