I have a Persian kitten by the name of Xuxa, pronounced (shoe-sha) When I was younger there was this kid show that came on and the host name was Xuxa and I loved it. Xuxa is a celeb in Brazil I think.    Report

03-20-2006, 10:34 PM hautekitty Joined on 01-02-2006 Rank NA Re: what's your pet's name? my guinea pigs name is helmut, because he is wierd and named after the designer helmut lang. my rabbits name is rico, short for rico suave i really dont know why my fish is name tuna bcause he is a fish my dogs name is zues, my dad named him my cats name is zephyr, keeping in line with the greek god theme and it sounded cool i guess and my other cats name is pumpkin, my mom named him that because he is orange and fat.      Report

I'm actually thinking of naming my 2 cats Ezekiel and Lucile, but i'll end up shortening their names to Zeek and Lil, will only refer to their actual names when they've done somethign wrong which will probably mean nothing to them anyway. I've always thought Lucile was a funny name from when i saw that movie "The three fugitives" with Nick Nolte and Martin Short. I've always liked Ezekiel because it means "strength of God", but would never name a child after it, so i'll name my cat instead I have the simplest taste. He came with the name Bobby (he is a rescue) and I wanted him to have a name that fit his swinging personality. (He really is quite a flirt and has his own fan club!)    Report

He was abandoned and came in an absolute mess. It was so bad that he was limping into the shelter.  He's a springer spaniel. His black fur has curls and whirls, except when he's groomed and given the "buzzcut", then he has practically no hair, ha ha ha.  He also has a white patch in the front of him. His name is Curly. Nah, I don't have two other pets named Larry and Moe. Never was really fond of the three stooges actually... I just have Curly right now.  He's about to turn ten on April second.   I'm celebrating with some Carvel's ice cream cake! hot child in the city, runnin wild and looking pretty... Aging is not 'lost youth' but a new stage of opportunity and strength.    Report

Was thinking maybe of giving him a mini cheeseburger, but I don't want to make him sick. Sure he would some Carvel- so would I! My dogs are rescue dogs too- they're the best.    Report
