Its so much better to never lose it, than to lose it and get it back--you can always tell the difference. With that said, most people never get it back, so if you get it back after you lost it, thats better than losing it forever.    Report

I am 26 and the only time I don't get carded is when I am out for dinner at a nice restaurant with my husband who is 27 but looks like he's around 30.  I also have naturally curly blond hair, but I in my license picture it was blown straight, so when I go out to a bar with curly hair, the bouncers always stare at it for a while to make sure it's me.    Report

I always get carded, but when I am out of state, I get the longest scrutiny when I show my DL. I think they think it is fake because in Arizona your DL doesn't expire for like 30 years. So people always think it is fake. I was trying to get into the Palms in LV a couple years ago and the bouncer wasn't going to let me in - he said my ID was fake. Finally another bouncer came over and told him to let me in. Stupid AZ!    Report

Same. I'm twenty-one, but some people wouldn't know it and the eyebrow raises do get rather annoying from time to time. Hell, wanna hear something funny?  I even got carded at my cousins wedding!     But, I'm not bothered by it one bit either.   It will save me money on botox and anti-aging creams. hot child in the city, runnin wild and looking pretty... I am 17 but i look about 10.. lol people always think i am way younger than i am. it's a bit of an annyance at school because i am a senior and everyone that didn't see me last year swears i am either a 7th, 8th,  or 9th grader. it doesn't help that i am also super short, try, 4'9"....    Report

I'm 30 and still get carded all the time.  I recently was in Canada and went to a casino (where the gambling age is 18!) and the ID guy was giving me a hard time.   I don't think I look that young, but hey, I'm not complaining.  Hopefully when I'm 40 I'm still getting carded...    Report

(not that I know how old you are, lol)    Report
