07-14-2006, 9:27 AM I am Rad Joined on 02-08-2006 San Diego Rank NA Veet vs. Nair I did an experiment on my legs between Veet and Nair to see which was better. (I'm not super dorky, I just am getting married in 8 days!) By day 3, my leg hair grew to legitimate stubble, (much like with shaving) with both. The only difference I found is that Nair smells horrible and it's harder to get the hair off.  Veet smells nice and the bladeless razor they included is GREAT. I am disappointed though because I thought my hair would stay away for longer.  Oh well.    Report

I'm always on the lookout for new hair removal products and am forever battling the hair on my legs. I'm looking for an at-home miracle, I guess. I've tried both Veet and Nair. The Veet with bladeless razor barely took off the hair on my legs! And the Nair took a little more off than Veet, but still left stray hairs...AND left my skin with a burn. I had a bumps and red spots all over my legs for days!! I guess I have supersonic body hairs that just refused to be removed. I think waxing would be the best bet, but I am just sooooo funny about people touching my body. LOL. I don't get waxed or get pedicures. Maybe I just need to get over it and go get waxed.        Report

07-14-2006, 4:42 PM label_whore313 Joined on 12-29-2005 Im bringin sexy baaaaaaack Rank NA Re: Veet vs. Nair Im too lazy to shave.  I use the 4-minute Nair, and it works great.  I think its stronger formula.  It burns the hair right off.  But on the bikini line, leaves stubble sometimes.  Its so much better to never lose it, than to lose it and get it back--you can always tell the difference. With that said, most people never get it back, so if you get it back after you lost it, thats better than losing it forever.    Report

Most people don't like shaving because shaving will cause hair to come back thicker, but Isn't using these creams like shaving? It's not like the hair is pull out from your roots when you use these creams. Hair is just removed from your skins surface like shaving.    Report
