Glow/Tanning Body Moisturizers or Creams?
|
|

So, I've been seeing a lot about these new moisturizers/creams that give you a subtle tan or a bit more glow than normal that builds over time with daily application - who has used them and what do you think of them? The new issue of More Magazine was recommending Neutrogena's Summer Glow, and their skin care advice is always really solid.
My other question is how do they affect your actually getting a tan? Does it all sort of even out in the end, or do you tan less?

i have tried these moisturizers and i have found that they have a very strong smell of self tanner that can seep into your clothing (you are supposed to leave the moisturizer on for a few hours before showering) and also if you continuously apply it your tan seems to come out orange.
i have not had positive expiriences with tanning moisturizers

Shimmering lotions work enough for me. I don't look like an Oompa nor like I've been rolling in pixie dust. It gives me a healthy glow like I've been basking in the sun all day.

I'm not really big on self-tanner - mostly becasue I can NEVER seem to apply it right and it always looks too streaky on certain body parts when I'm done. That's why I'm interested in these "summer glow" kinds of moisturizers that they are talking about in More magazine right now. If only because they seem like the would build up better, and look more natural and not like I just magically woke up this morning and had a tan. That's the other thing about tanning cream/self-tanner, there's no way that it looks natural and I'm wondering if something like this summer glow daily moisturizer would sort of really look like getting a real tan?
I need to make more time to be in the sun, obviously! I'm so incredibly pale.
