What do you guys think of this trend toward really neat looking reds and berry colors as the thing to be wearing this fall? I think it looks so cool on people, generally, especially if you are a little bit pale. They have a feature on this in the new issue of More Magazine, and show a lot of different brands. I think the Bare Escentuals Ripe Fig color looks really nice. Anyone a fan of that brand? Is it good?

I love the look. It's polished and classic. The red lip trend comes and goes, but it'll never go out of style. Bare Escentuals is decent. I tried their foundation, but it made my face itch if I started sweating in the sun. Their brushes are horrible, too. But as far as their make up products..they're decent. It just didn't work out for me.
But MAC's NY Apple is a gorgeous color. Ruby Woo is another nice red from MAC...can't go wrong with MAC.

Ooh i am so glad I found this thread - I love wearing red lipstick - it is so daring, people really notice you. I love to pair it with a lip liner though, otherwise it smudges all over my face!
