Re: stretch marks
I have little ones on my hips.  They seem to be more apparent when I have a tan.  I use good old fashion vitamin E oil or coco butter lotion.  I really don't know if it helps that much.  Mine are pretty small so I try not to sweat it that much.

Re: stretch marks
For those who have stretch marks......unless you have money for laser treatments, etc they are there to stay. No creams, no oils and so one are going to get rid of them.

Re: stretch marks

I heard about this cream at Target --it used to be prescription and it is supposed to do the trick--I guess suffice enough withough doing laser.

I don't know what it is called--starts with a T maybe?  But it is on the aisle with coco butter and vitamin E cream.  I have a friend who worked there and said they cannot keep it in stock!

Cool [H] Re: stretch marks
Let me just say (from a girl that is wrapped up in Stretch marks) Nothing will make them go away. You can however prevent them! If you have them chances are you will get more so start lathering on the moisture.

Re: stretch marks
Does anyone know how much it costs to have them removed by laser?  And does it hurt?

I don't have them, but if I ever get pregant, I want to know my options.

Re: stretch marks
I'm going to get a consultation so I will let you know what they tell me. As far as pain, I don't think laser causes any sensation at all. I could be wrong, but I know that it is minimal if anything.

Re: stretch marks
I've got stretch marks right under my arms, on the inside bicep. Apparently they started showing up because of me working out. They aren't that noticeable usually, but when I am working out they become quite visible. I am not too too bothered to be honest, but I was told that using Vitamin E oil helps to sibside them, and for permanent solution, laser is always there.

Re: stretch marks
I have never had laser for stretch marks, but I have had laser hair removal. I am assuming it is similar--and laser hair removal does hurt me--I have a low pain threshold, so MAKE SURE to get a over the counter numbing cream at the drug store, and apply it on really thick so that it numbs the area 1 hour before the proceedure.

Re: stretch marks
im interested in hearing how the consultation went! my mom was going to fly me out to california 3 years ago to see a doctor who does this treatment but i was in school at the time and not up for it. but now i'd be interested in it again.

ive had my stretch marks on my hips since i was like 10 years old!!! i was told it must have been from dancing bc i was never overweight or lost/gained a lot of weight at any point. it sucks and i'm self conscious about it but whatever... life goes on.
