I tried Clarins Stop Imperfections, it does wonders and it lasts forever, very practical! It's all from plant extracts too, I strongly recommend it.

i tried the origins spot remover before. didn't do much for me.  the active ingredient is salicylic acid and i respond better to benzoyl peroxide.  my friend likes it though so if you're curious you should try.

I have the origins stuff and it works pretty well.  Like it says, it's more for spots though, not overall acne.  But it's good if you have a random zit just pop up out of nowhere.

this may seem weird but i find that birth control really cleared up my face!  it has something in it that fights acne!

I just use straight Vitamin E oil with like 45,000 IU's.  I apply to my whole face every morning before my sunscreen, not b/c my whole face has zits, but it actually keeps my face amazingly clear, and super soft.  I haven't had any zits since I have started doing this treatment, too!  Plus, it also reduces redness, and helps reduce past acne scars.

^^Irresistable, where do you get that from? Is that something that you just get from Trader Joes or Whole Foods? I'm intrigued...

I actually get it at my local health foods store.  However, I know that Whole Foods does carry it.

This is what it looks like

45,000 IU Vitamin E Pure Beauty Oil

45,000 IU Vitamin E
Pure Beauty Oil
Natural Ingredients

JASON  Vitamin E Oil 45,000 I.U. nourishes and protects skin, leaving it soft and supple to the touch. Natural essential oils of Black Currant, Evening Primrose, Macadamia Nut and Borage help to reduce inflammation, prevent dryness and maintain healthy skin cells.

2 FL. OZ.
Item No. 04031

eta-

I use a drop the size of my middle fingernail, dollop it onto my middle finger, then rub my fingers together, just to warm up the oil to allow it to spread onto my face easier.

The bottle is maybe 3-4 inches tall, and has lasted me quite a while.  Def. over 4 months, and I am now just past halfway gone.

luxlova,

It really does work! I've been off of BC for a month now and i have a few pimples popping up on my forehead and the sides of my face, and not big painful ones, just little itchy ones. When i was on the pill I never had a major breakout, maybe an occasional zit, but even that's rare.

SOMEONE RECOMMENED THIS TO ME......CLAIMED IT GAVE THEM GLOWING SKIN.

I WENT TO PICK IT UP, BUT CHICKENED OUT.  THAT MICRODERMABRASION STUFF IS NOT FOR SENSITIVE SKIN, I DONT THINK.....

THEY ALSO HAD THIS.....BUT I DIDNT GET IT, BECAUSE THE CLEANSER STUFF IS FOR OILY SKIN, IT STATES.  AND MY SKIN IS ONLY OILY DURING THE SUMMER.  RIGHT NOW ITS DRY. Confused [8-)]

SEPHORA.COM HAS THIS, I DIDNT SEE IT IN THE STORE.....OR ELSE I MIGHT'VE GOT IT.

I ENDED UP GETTING A BUNCH OF BENEFIT STUFF FOR MY ACNE......I MADE A THREAD ABOUT IT IN THE PRIMP LOUNGE (BENEFIT).  I REPORT BACK IN  A FEW DAYS.  Smile [:)]

IS THERE A PHISOPHY THREAD???  CAN SOMEONE PLEASE START ONE, IM CURIOUS ABOUT THEIR PRODUCTS!!

I DECIDED NOT TO MESS AROUND WITH PROACTIVE, TOO MANY MIXED REVIEWS.  SWEETY'S REVIEWS WERE VERY HELPFUL, THANKS AGAIN. Smile [:)]

Its so much better to never lose it, than to lose it and get it back--you can always tell the difference. With that said, most people never get it back, so if you get it back after you lost it, thats better than losing it forever.

The oxy wash is the best to really "grip" your skin. It can be harsh but if you use it especially after eating anything unusually fatty in your diet, it can really scare away any problems before they start. That's best if you are clubbing for like 7 hrs straight and then only see the mirror at 5 am. Less ugly surprises.

I wasnt having much luck with my sephora brands.  So I bought some cheap $5 BP acne cream from the drugstore, it dried up ALL my acne. Surprise [:O]  haha, Ive been struggling with this for almost a year, didnt think to try the cheap stuff!

Ive used zapzyt before, hahaha.  Its bp cream too, I bought the generic brand though, since I didnt think there'd be a difference.

Someone suggested the tea tree oil also, but Im hesistant to use any "oil' products. Hmm [^o)]  Also camelia oil, I think its called??

i doubt there is a diff...just in price (and the only thing you are doing by paying less with generic is not paying for advertising costs)

the only downfall with oil is they do make the blemish "shiny."  i have had great luck with vit. e oil though.  and after a while the oil shine does go away (plus, if you are just using a dab and rub it on the blemish- it really is unnoticeable).  but it really reduces the life of the zits, as well as the redness.

my issue right now is...blemishes in the area of where my phone hits on my face.  Lately i have been cleaning the phone with alcohol prep pads, and trying to be aware of how I talk on the phone.    but i get those blemishs right under my chin / neck area...and I am so over it.  but at least they aren't right up on my face, like BLAU!!  I will take a under chin /neck zit over a cheekbone zit any day.

Omg, I hate using the phones at work.  It disgusts me.  Esp. when you can smell traces of someone's putrid breath on there. ew  Sometimes I would clean it off with 10% bleach solution, but lately I hadnt bothered.  haha, thats funny.  I was getting acne on the sides of my chin too, that was one of the problem areas.  Vit E didnt do anything for me when I tried it, but I found out you have to be careful with certain brands, they can have inactive extracts.  Some people use the capsules.  Hmm, Im interested in this camelia stuff now, I googled it, sounds interesting. heheh

I just purchased  Desert Essence Blemish Touch Stick yesterday- ($8.95).  I applied a few times (4) before bed, and I woke up this morning, and the blemishes have already started to disappear (and a few are completely gone).  It says to apply a few times a day...so I am...and I think by tomorrow, they will be all gone.  It smells good (not medicinal), and it applies clear (no white flaky residue).  I think I'm in love...
